Price the cake not the ingredients

Bundled options vs. itemised pricing

Give your customers a single price for the bundle of features, steps or deliverables that you will give them to achieve the outcomes that they’re after, rather than a list of itemized prices. This is what we call “selling the cake.”

Too much focus on the ingredients (itemised features and prices) invites scrutiny of the wrong things. Customers don’t care how you do it. They want the outcomes or benefits that you are selling. So focus on those and give them a total price to get there.
