You’ll have heard of brand personas, but what about your pricing persona?

How you price speaks volumes to your customers. Ask yourself whether your pricing tells the same story as your brand.

  • If your business positions itself as a premium provider, are your prices reassuringly expensive?
  • If your business positions itself as an affordable mass-market offering, are your prices delivering a low-cost experience to match those perceptions?

Be sure to align how you price with the brand and reputation you’re creating. If your customers are expecting a high price and you’re worryingly cheap, you might alienate them. If they expect a low price and you’re very expensive, that’s an unwelcome surprise, too.
